No. DatIQ is zero-code — paste a URL, describe any field you want in plain English, and the AI extracts it. Custom extraction is configurable in the UI without scripting.

Export ▾ gives you CSV, PDF, Markdown and JSON as downloads, plus copy-to-clipboard, and you can email selected extractions from the Dashboard. PDF reports are customizable with white-label templates on Business and Agency plans. To send data to another tool instead of downloading it, use Push ▾ — HubSpot, Notion, Airtable and Slack (each connected once in Account → Integrations), plus Google Sheets, which needs no setup at all.

Yes. Scheduled monitoring is included on Pro, Business, and Agency plans. Schedules can run hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly, and you can attach an alert email to be notified when the page changes.

Yes. The Developer plan (H2 2026) is an API-first tier. Business and Agency plans include API access today — POST to /api/extract, /api/ai, and GET /api/stats.

Yes — every extraction has a Share button that creates a public link at datiq.app/p/<short-code>. The recipient sees a read-only report, no sign-in required. You can revoke the link at any time.

Use CSV from any Export ▾ menu, then open it in your spreadsheet tool. For Google Sheets specifically, pick Google Sheets from the Push ▾ menu — it needs no setup and opens a blank sheet ready for the CSV it just downloaded.

Yes. Turn on Run in background in the composer's ＋ menu and the run keeps going while you move around the app. Progress shows in a dock in the corner — how many URLs are done, which one is being read, and a Cancel button. The setting is remembered between visits and applies to single extractions too.

Only if you add an alert email to the schedule. Automated runs that detect a change send the alert; the manual Run now button just shows you the result on screen.

Yes. Import up to 500 company domains by paste or CSV — DatIQ normalises and de-duplicates them on the way in — and it reads each company's own public site for firmographics, pricing model, positioning and contacts. You define the ICP as weighted criteria with a qualification threshold, and can mark a criterion required so failing it disqualifies an account outright. Test the rules against a sample domain before you run the list, then export the qualified accounts or push them to HubSpot, Notion, Airtable or Slack.

No. Every field is either observed — read off a page, with the page and supporting quote recorded — or inferred and labelled as inferred, or absent. There is no fourth state and no plausible-looking default. That means an honest run sometimes returns less than you hoped, so every score travels with a coverage figure telling you how much of the picture it was computed from. An unmeasured signal is excluded and its weight redistributed — never scored as zero.

Every detected change is classified by materiality. Critical changes such as a price or tier change alert immediately; high-materiality changes such as a positioning shift are batched daily; medium changes weekly; and low-materiality noise such as whitespace or a copyright year is recorded but never alerted on. The first run of a watchlist is always a silent baseline. And a field that stopped being observed is reported as unobserved rather than deleted, because a failed page render is far more common than a competitor actually removing their pricing.

Yes, with signal routing rules. A rule triggers on a competitor watchlist change, a bulk enrichment result such as an account crossing your ICP threshold, or a workflow run finishing; you add conditions; and the action posts to Slack, sends an email, calls a webhook, or writes to HubSpot. Every rule has a live test against a sample payload that uses the same evaluator as the runtime, and every dispatch is recorded whether it succeeded or not, with retries on failure. Signal routing is available from the Select plan upwards.

You choose per report, and you can change it later: private (only you), anyone with the link (unlisted), workspace only, specific people (named email addresses), or public. Only public reports are indexable by search engines — every other level ships a noindex instruction. Revoking a link burns it permanently and the code is never reissued, and reports can also carry an expiry date. Sharing is free on every plan, including Free.

Some pages block automated access or load their content with heavy JavaScript. Try enabling JavaScript rendering in Advanced options, or try a more specific page (e.g. the pricing page rather than the home page).

Summaries reflect what the page actually exposes. Pages with little text, or that hide content behind logins, give the model less to work with. If a page is sparse, try a richer sub-page like /about or /pricing.

The results table shows the reason next to each failed URL, with a Retry button on that row. Common causes are unreachable sites, non-HTML pages (e.g. PDFs, images), or sites that block automated requests. Other URLs in the batch still succeed. Failures stay with the run, and every run has its own link, so you can reopen it later from Batch runs on the Dashboard and retry from there — only successful pages become Dashboard entries, so the run page is the only place a failed URL appears.

DatIQ ships improvements regularly. If you've had a tab open for a while and an export or action shows this message, just refresh the page and try again.

It was created while you were signed out, so it could not be saved to your account. Recurring runs happen on DatIQ's servers rather than in your browser, so a schedule needs an account before anything can run it. Sign in and DatIQ saves the schedule for you automatically — it is labelled "Not running" rather than shown with a next-run time it cannot honour.

That is one of two reasonable readings, so DatIQ asks instead of guessing. When your paste is text that contains links, an inline chooser appears under the box: "Extract all N" pulls the individual pages, and "Extract this text as one page" treats the paste as a single document.

All extractions and account data are stored in Supabase (Postgres) on encrypted-at-rest infrastructure in the US-East region. DatIQ is DPDP Act 2023 compliant and never trains on your extractions. See the Privacy Policy for the full data handling notice.

No — you can start extracting immediately, and a trial banner shows how many free single extractions and batch runs remain. Signing in changes three things: your saved pages move from this browser onto your account, schedules can actually run (they execute on DatIQ's servers), and Push destinations become available.

They are saved, but only in the browser you used — clearing site data or switching browsers loses them. Your Dashboard says so at the top and tells you how many pages are browser-only. Sign in and DatIQ moves them onto your account automatically; there is nothing to re-run or re-import.

Open Account → Danger zone → Delete account. Account deletion removes all extractions, schedules, collections, and account data within 30 days. Billing records are retained for the legally required minimum (typically 8 years for Indian tax law).
